Prayer

So often we think that prayer is the last resort, a fallback plan, and it is far too rarely our go-to whether in good or bad circumstances.

Being able to pray is a powerful tool. It is truly the best thing we can do in any situation. Praying is how we communicate with God. We are told throughout scripture to pray for one another, to share each other’s burdens, and to comfort one another as we have been comforted.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV

This is why we invite you to share what we can be praying over on your behalf.

If praying is uncomfortable for you, you find yourself asking “how do I pray”, or maybe you think God won’t listen or hear you when you call out to Him, I encourage you to dive into the importance of praying and let God teach you the truth about how and why we should communicate with Him every single day.

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone…

1 Timothy 2:1 CSB
